Sometimes there’s just no other perspective than the one that has you flat on your belly, face in the grass making friends and strangers alike wonder what in the world is so compelling that you’d make a fool of yourself in public like that.  Nothing wrong with the end of the fence shots.  Nothing wrong with the through the fence shots.  But then I noticed this little piece of fence that was lifted up off the ground just enough for me to poke a lens through . . . .

All this must have reminded my husband of the first time he witnessed me lay down by the side of the road in the Appalachians in order to get the shot I wanted.  :)

Cool shots! Where were these taken? Were you just passing by or did you know someone playing (although they might not want to admit they know you if you just lay down beside ball fields for photos!)?

Bea! These are sooo compelling. I’ve released myself from the idea that I’m crazy when I lay down to get the shot. People just don’t know what they’re missing! Great job on these!!!

    Thanks guys.

Ryan, yes we have entree to the games by way of Terry’s #1 grandson. I think these days an unknown photographer showing up and taking pictures of the kids would likely get mobbed. They still hung pretty far away while I was on the ground though. :)

Cindy, don’t forget, I have pictures of you standing on a laundromat washing machine in your quest for the shot. LOL
