Need I say more?
I’m an Ohio-based photographer with a day job. I got hooked on photography at about 16 years old during my first trip to Colorado. We walked around a corner on the trail and came upon a breathtaking scene of mountains reflected in a crystal clear lake and a lone pine tree with a large blue and white bird sitting near the end of the branch contemplating the lake. I took the shot with my little 110 film camera and never looked back. Digital has made it more affordable to practice, practice, practice, and all that practice is beginning to pay off.
My favorite subject has always been the natural world. Second to that would be “entropy” – i.e., falling buildings, rusting cars, old cemeteries, and that sort of thing.
I’m thankful that I’ve been able to use my skills and my gear to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, as well. Nothing makes it quite so rewarding as knowing that I can invest my favorite thing in the whole world with something of eternity.
